Guided Visits for Everyone

During the course of the Immersive Summer Camp at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym [see news: Work Competences], Diego, a student at the Rome IIS Galileo Galilei School, conceived and developed Project Virtual Guide, a virtual system for mobility dedicated to individuals with mobility issues.

 

The team, including Diego, Federico D., Gabriele, Luca and Federico P., developed the idea while they tested various virtual reality tools available in the Immersive Lab.

The Immersive Summer Camp (June 18-24) was designed as the final part of the TIM school-work programme, which was promoted in 24 schools in 10 Italian cities to provide over 600 year-four students with digital skills. The 18 best students, from six schools in Rome, who shined for innovation and competences, received a free week at the Immersive Summer Camp. Two other students come from the earthquake areas, like Dimitra [see news: Surprising Experience!].
