PariPasso with Rizzoli Education: three webinars for the educational community

Three sessions to help teachers and families understand the changes that digital technology is bringing about in learning, relationships and the choices made by young people. This is the new programme from PariPasso, the Rizzoli Education project dedicated to educational inclusion, organised by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale for the educational community.

The central theme is the partnership between school and family. Smartphones, social media and artificial intelligence are now an integral part of young people’s daily lives and raise questions concerning wellbeing, citizenship, responsibility and shaping the future. The programme offers three evening sessions, open to teachers at all school levels and to families, to tackle these issues with practical tools and complementary perspectives.

The first session, Well-being in the digital world: Well-being and learning, is scheduled for Thursday 15 October at 9.00 pm. Featuring Nicoletta Vulpetti and Claudia Campisi, the session explores the relationship between technology, attention, learning and well-being. The aim is to help adults and educators interpret behaviour without focusing solely on screen time, and to establish shared and sustainable rules between school and home.

The second webinar, Living Well in the Digital Age: Rights, Responsibility and Citizenship, takes place on Thursday 26 November at 9.00 pm. Cristina Bonucchi, Chief Technical Psychologist at the State Police, will discuss privacy, digital identity, cyberbullying, deepfakes, disinformation and the responsible use of artificial intelligence with Nicoletta Vulpetti. The focus will be on real-life situations encountered in school and family life, and on the ability to recognise risks, verify content and understand the consequences of one’s online actions. The series concludes on Thursday 21 January at 9.00 pm with Growing Up in the Digital World: Career Guidance and Life Planning, featuring Nicoletta Vulpetti and Claudia Campisi. The webinar approaches career guidance as an ongoing process of self-discovery, exploring opportunities and progressively shaping one’s own path. At the heart of the programme is the Personal Ecosystem Canvas, a methodology developed by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale that connects resources, skills, interests, aspirations, relationships and opportunities. There is also a section dedicated to the role of AI, which is useful for exploring scenarios and broadening the range of possibilities considered, whilst leaving the individual with the decisive task of evaluating and choosing.

For teachers, registration also entitles them to receive a certificate of attendance; families can follow the sessions live on the Rizzoli Education YouTube channel without registering.

Three verbs – being, living, growing – thus outline a unified journey: from personal wellbeing to responsibility in digital environments, right through to the ability to find one’s way and plan one’s own future.
