Five Italian social entrepreneurs with innovative ideas are exporting their solutions abroad. They are the Ashoka Italia Fellows.
From contrasting the mafia to providing work in jail and from maternal leave to educational technology, innovation “made in Italy” is also social. This is the challenge that will be launched at the “Everyone is a Change Maker” event (Milan Vodafone Theatre, November 22, 6 pm).
Ashoka, the greatest global network of social innovators, selected five new social entrepreneurs (Ashoka Fellows) this year. They are Italian entrepreneurs who offer create approaches to the fundamental problems of the country and the rest of the world, transforming collective urgencies into solutions and job opportunities. The fellows include Alfonso Molina, Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
Becoming a member of the global Ashoka Network, endows Fellows with international support from a wide range of professionals, extending their social enterprise, duplicating their model and recognizing their importance in a given sector. The objective is to change the system, not only nationally, but also internationally.
The main message of the Ashoka Network is that we all can – and must – be agents of change. Everyone is a Change Maker.
