For the second edition of Marconi's Faire, which will be held until Sunday afternoon, the Guglielmo Marconi Technology School in Campobasso has organized an Open Day for Project Grandparents On-line.
Marconi's Faire provides the perfect opportunity to showcase to all citizens the curricular and extra-curricular experiences that have been recognised worldwide. The school managed by Headmistress Adelaide Villa will be present with all its programmes: Electronics, ICT, Mechanics, Mechatronics and Energy, Chemistry and Environmental Biotechnology.
The Open Day will be held in the downtown “ex Gil” Building on via Gorizia. The exhibition will be open Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28 from 9 am to 1 pm and Friday, May 26, Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28 from 3 to 6 pm, too.
One of the 12 labs at the event will be dedicated to the digital literacy of over-65s: Lab 10. "Grandparents On-line rete" – educational activities held by Marconi students to overcome the digital divide for over-65s.
The initiative is part of the school-work programme and is coordinated by Professor Annalisa Gaddi.
