Grandparents on the Internet in Trento

The new edition of Grandparents on the Internet, the long-standing digital project promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale for the elderly, kicks off at the Istituto Tecnico Economico Tambosi in Trento. The tutors for the 38 over-65s will be 38 students in year three and four studying business information systems. The activities are coordinated by Prof. Natale Scopelliti.

The course, based on the intergenerational learning model, is based on 15 2-hour lessons during which the over-65s will be tutored one-on-one by students, who will help them to acquire the competences necessary to use new technology.

At the end of the course, the school will host a digital café to present the project to citizens.
