The Istituto d’Istruzione superiore "C. Rosatelli" in Rieti was awarded 5 Intel® Galileo chipsets for the proposals it set forth for the “Intel® Galileo Italy School Contest 2014,” a competition hoping to unearth new brilliant ideas for school workshops, curricular activities and didactic simulations.
The Intel® Galileo Project provides students and teachers with the opportunity to design didactic and technological tools based on the new Arduino-compatible Intel chipset for the education sector and maker community.
The winning students, who are class 4 electronics students, were helped by two teachers to create projects addressing homo domotics, recycling and the re-use of old lab tools.
