Final event of the 10th edition: Awards Ceremony at the Rome Campidoglio, today.

 

The final event of the International Global Junior Challenge comes to an end today with the awards ceremony at the Rome Campidoglio. The appointment is at 9:00 am in the prestigious “Aula Giulio Cesare.”

 

The international competition designed and promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, recognises and rewards the creative and innovative use of new technology for education and the future of youth.  The tenth edition, developed in collaboration with the Centro Studi Erickson and the patronage of the City of Rome, is dedicated to the project that used innovation and quality inclusion to promote inclusion, actively involving families and the entire educational community throughout the health emergency.

 

Participants will be welcomed to the Campidoglio by Rome’s Police Band.

 

The awards ceremony will open with a message from 2021 Nobel Prize winner Giorgio Parisi, Professor of Theoretical Physics at Sapienza University of Rome, on “The Beauty of Complex Systems.”

 

Then, Alfonso Molina, Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and President of the Jury will address participants.

 

The following awards will be presented: medals to the winning projects in the five categories (four age groups and one dedicated to job insertion), the “Tullio De Mauro Innovating Teacher 2021", the “Tullio De Mauro Innovating School Administrator 2021”, and Erickson awards to the 2021 innovating teacher and school administrator.

 

The awards will also be presented by Silvana Ferreri De Mauro, Professor of Modern Language Didactics at the University of Viterbo, and Giorgio Dossi, President, Edizioni Centro Studi Erickson.
