Towards a certification based on UNI/PdR 125:2022 reference practices.

Notwithstanding the fact that the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is an organisation with a predominantly female staff, we have decided to implement a company policy to reduce the gender gap in all areas considered most critical: career opportunities, equal pay, management of gender diversity, and maternity protection [see: The Challenge for Gender Equality]. In fact, it is now universally agreed that organisations with an inclusive approach at all levels tend to generate greater value, adopting a long-term perspective, demonstrating a lower propensity for risk and greater attention towards sustainability and innovation. 

We therefore filed to obtain a Gender Equality Certification, based on the UNI/PdR 125:2022 reference practice, and to become a promoter of the significant change necessary both in the education system and in the third sector.

The adopted management model aims to guarantee the maintenance of defined and implemented requirements over time, measuring the progress of the results through the preparation of specific KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) in six dimensions:

  • Culture and strategy
  • Governance
  • HR processes
  • Gender-neutral growth opportunities in the company
  • Remuneration equality by gender
  • Protection of parenthood and work-life balance.
