GEM: Final Conference

The final conference of European Project Gender Equality Matters (Feb. 11-12, 2021) begins today. The event, organised by Dublin City University, explores gender equality with a focus on stereotypes, bullying and violence. Project Manager Annaleda Mazzucato and Marta Tonelli are participating on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.

 

The objective of the conference is to bring together academics, teachers, students, post-graduate students, health professionals, policy makers, NGOs and the greater educational community to address gender equality. The approach will emphasise participation and sharing of ideas, pedagogic models and innovative experiences.

 

The main speakers are Kathleen LynchAnne LooneyJames O'Higgins-Norman and Peter Dankmeijer.

 

The conference format also includes the participation of experts and a Q&A session, parallel sessions, workshops and on-line forums to allow participants to freely exchange ideas.

 

Participation is free. The conference is funded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme of the European Union.
