“At first, we addressed the main concepts of digital manufacturing starting from the tools and technology. We also analysed the materials that can be used and project techniques,” explains Matteo Viscogliosi, the maker and designer who introduced students at the summer school organised by the Fondazione Golinelli to 3D printers and laser cutters.
the Enterprise Garden is an informal school for enterprise culture that aims to attract students who are curious, creative and passionate to try their hand at developing entrepreneurial ideas. This year the courses were held on July 16-30 and August 23-31 with the use digital work tools and collaborative platforms [see press note for 8th edition].
“We also explored with device management programmes, learning about Tinkercad and using it in groups divided into virtual rooms.” During the second course, the students worked with Irene Caretti, maker e designer.
Today, from 2:30 to 5:30, there will be the final meeting to learn about the projects developed by the students.
