Th Brain Control Interface Race Challenge, one of the creative contests held as part of RomeCup 2019, was inspired by the Zurich Cybathlon. Pilots participating in the competition test use a neural helmet to test a videogame developed to overcome obstacles with an avatar.

 

Together with five other university students on the Computer Engineering Programme at the Rome “Tor Vergata” UniversityRoberto Masocco, 23, participated in the Brain Control Interface Race. Luigi Bianchi, a Professor of Medical Engineering, and Automation Engineering Researcher Daniele Carnevale coordinated the following team:
