Latching on to the International Day of Older Persons promoted by the United Nations and held on October 1, the ForAge Grundtvig Multilateral Network organized a pan-European conference on third age in Budapest to examine the tendencies and development of lifelong learning and compare different European experiences.
Myrto Maria Ranga, Project Manager for 50 Plus Hellas, presented The Knowledge Volunteers Project for the digital literacy of over-sixties promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in partnership with 5 other countries, as a best practice for active ageing in the 21st century.
The biennial plan just ended with an Awards Ceremony held for junior and senior volunteers at the Rome Campidoglio on September 27, 2013.
