Amongst the Italian teams that will be competing at RoboCup 2015 in Hefei, China (July 17-23), there are the 2014 World Champions, the Spqr Team from IIS Galileo Galilei in Rome, selected at the RomeCup 2015.
Emanuele Alfano (17) and Lorenzo Di Donato (19) will be defending the title they won last year in Brazil in the Robocup Junior Soccer Lightweight category. The players that will be fielded by the two coaches are Mr Spock e J. T. Kirk, two newly conceived robots that are ready for heir Chinese debut.
Over the coming days, we will also follow the other teams leaving for China, including IIS Righi from Treviglio, who won at RomeCup 2015 in the Soccer Open League category with Team “Robot Magut” and IIS Democrito from Rome that returns to the RoboCup in the Cospace Theatre category.
