Final Exam

Michelle (17) and Giuseppe (87) participated in Project  Grandparents on the Internet at the Post Office, as respectively tutor and student. The project promoted by Poste Italiane is based on the intergenerational learning model developed by the FMD. Lessons were held in post offices in six pilot cities: Ascoli, Asti, Mantua, Naples, Palermo and Rome.

In the video, Michelle recounts here experience as a coordinator for the final test. At seventeen, she has already begun facing the new challenge that must be confronted by all education systems: personalized education. As a matter of fact, this was the subject of a recent article on the Huffington Post by Professor Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy, University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director, Fondazione Mondo Digitale [see: The Inverted Classroom and the Challenge of Personalised Education].

A challenge that Michelle faced and won with her student, Mr. Giuseppe, who at 87, proudly returned to school to continue learning.
