Less than 5% of the referees in the Italian Referee Association are women. However, starting last year at the RomeCup, things are taking a turn for the better thanks to the presence of Prof. Donatella Falciai. The percentage climbs to 12.5% - one women out of 8 referees – and we hope i twill continue to rise in the coming years.
