‘Female intelligence in AI’ kicks off in Bologna

Training for 60 women thanks to the support of the Google.org AI Opportunity Fund

Training activities for the project ‘Female Intelligence in AI: Skills for Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals’ kicked off yesterday in Bologna. The project is promoted with the support of the Center for Public Impact as part of the Google.org AI Opportunity Fund, in collaboration with the Bologna Chamber of Commerce.

The first course involves 60 female entrepreneurs and employees of small and medium-sized enterprises in the tertiary sector, divided into two groups to optimise active participation and the quality of training:

The first day was dedicated to an introductory module on artificial intelligence, with practical exercises designed to immediately put into practice the theoretical knowledge acquired independently through the Coursera platform, which participants can use free of charge thanks to a licence provided by the project.

The theoretical course, Google AI Essentials, includes on-demand content (videos, readings and quizzes) to learn how to use AI effectively, safely and responsibly.

The project includes live webinars with trainers to explore, discuss and work in groups on practical cases of artificial intelligence application in the everyday professional context.

This inclusive, flexible and strategic training aims to bridge the gender gap in the AI sector and accompany women on a path of digital empowerment designed for the work, business and leadership of the future.

At the end, participants also receive an official certification.
