As part of the three-day event (5-7 April) promoted by the Oasi per la Famiglia Network to discuss the role of family and students through conferences, workshops, laboratories and animations, Project Grandparents on the Internet in Como will be presented as a best practice.
Promoted by the Province of Como, the Como Chamber of Commerce, the Como Provincial School Department and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale to help increase digital literacy amongst over sixites, the project involves 15 local schools, including IC Cernobbio and IC Tramezzina both of which were present at the event.
The course participants and their tutors have recently finished the lessons and will receive their certificates from Fulvio Alvisi on behalf of the Como Chamber of Commerce.
They will be accompanied by their coordinating teachers: Emilia Bianchi for the Cernobbio Primary Schools and Luigi Travella for IC Tramezzina and the Headmaster of both schools Anna Grandi Ciceri.
The course was enormously successful in the Province of Como, yet more proof of the efficacy of the intergenerational learning model that has now been implemented for over 10 years.
