A Fabulous Miracle

A Fabulous Miracle

It was a special day for the knowledge volunteers … so many voices to listen to and stories to tell: as usual the protagonists are the over-sixty students who have begun to familiarize with the web.

Grandma Marisa is back for the third evening in a row! She has already begun to use what she has learned and read about the Medioera events on the web.

Claudia, a tutor, invited a special student – her mother – who after having signed up on Facebook managed to get back in touch with her old Polish friends.

At the end of the evening, Mario Morcellini, Director of the Communications Department at the Rome "La Sapienza" University, stopped by, too.

“We often discuss inequality in culture and the digital divide. The existence of these knowledge volunteers is a fabulous miracle. It is incredible that young school children can act as a bridge, as an interface for socialization ... my first answer is just fabulous!"commented the professor after hearing about the Grandparents on the Internet in Tuscia Project.
