Great project often start on Friday evening and continue throughout the weekend, when the Phyrtual Innovation Gym fills with entire families. Our youngest visitors attend special labs on gaming and soft electronics, while older kids can explore digital fabrication machines (see news on Saturday Mind Training).
However, the Fab Lab also attracts professionals and craftsmen like Mauro Del Santo, a designer specialised in Materials Technology, who yesterday used a laser cutter to shape the sections required for his lamps, generated via complex mathematical algorithms. The first objects, produced as part of Project Unsolid, were sold in the United States and Latin America.
