A seminar on “Robotics as a Tool for Didactic Innovation” will be held on Monday, February 13, at the Catania Itis Archimede School. Participants include the Catania Provincial School Department, the University of Catania Robotics Department and the Laboratorio nazionale del Sud. The Hon. Raffaele Lombardo, President of the Sicily Region and various important enterprises is scheduled as a speaker.
Silvia Celani, Project Coordinator for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will participate via videoconference to launch the collaboration agreement with It is Archimede that was signed with the FMD in view of RomeCup 2012, Excellence in Robotics in Rome.
The Sicilian School was selected by the Ministry of Instruction, University and Research to promote excellence at the 2011-2012 Robocup Junior Competition (decree dated 8 November 2011). The school will collaborate with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale to organize and promote the “soccer secondary” category competition.
