The first review meeting for Project MaTHiSiS - Managing Affective-learning THrough Intelligent atoms and Smart InteractionS is underway in Luxembourg. One year after the project kick-off, the consortium meets with experts from the European DG Connect Commission to present the progress and results reached in the development of the innovative Mathisis prototype system.
Thanks to its ability to analyse students’ behavioural and emotional state, the Mathisis system can help to personalize curricular learning for students with autism and multiple disabilities.
Over the following weeks, testing will begin in schools in Italy, Spain and the UK.
In Rome, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, in collaboration with CERTH, will test the prototypes at the Istituto comprensivo Rita Levi Montalcini and the Fare ABA Association to evaluate its applicability to education and teaching for professors and students. The results of this assessment will kick off the second phase of prototype development.
