Even robotics works with word of mouth... A trained teacher immediately becomes a teacher trainer and brings benefits to educational robotics in his educational dimension. And some schools do this very quickly. The most emblematic case is that of ITT Panetti in Bari. Last October, Prof. Giuseppe Spalierno participated in the Miur Robotics Seminar held at ITIS Giordani in Caserta. Back at school, he immediately trained a team of young designers and took part in the RomeCup with team Robopan in the Dance Secondary Category, placing second.
Thirty professors from 17 schools in 12 different areas participated in the RomeCup workshop held on March 15, 2011. The work sessions included the one animated by Massimo Banzi, the inventor of Arduino, a platform that is rapidly spreading even in schools.
