Presentation of the RTE4SI methodology in the journal Quaderni di comunità
The contribution by Mirta Michilli and Alfonso Molina on the RTE4SI (Real Time Evaluation for Social Innovation) methodology has been published in the latest issue of the scientific journal Quaderni di Comunità (no. 2/2025), published by Eurilink University Press and dedicated to ‘The Challenges and Opportunities of Evaluation: From Theory to Practice’.
“Evaluation as a strategic lever for innovating educational, social and institutional processes”: with this invitation, the editors of the issue, Laura Evangelista and Concetta Fonzo, propose a multi-voiced reflection on the transformation of evaluation from a control tool to a participatory process, capable of reading contexts, giving voice to actors and guiding decisions.
Michilli and Molina's essay, entitled “Evaluating social innovation in real time”, presents a dynamic, adaptive and narrative approach to evaluation, based on continuous feedback, strategic adaptation and active listening to stakeholders. The RTE4SI methodology allows for the integration of evaluation and monitoring throughout the project cycle, transforming data into impact stories and mapping the generated value flows in real time: social, cognitive and financial.
The article also proposes a concrete case of application, the Fattore J project.
Quaderni di Comunità is an interdisciplinary academic journal published by Eurilink University Press, dedicated to the study of cultural, social and organisational transformations in contemporary society, with a particular focus on issues such as welfare, education and community.
