Ambizione Italia for Cybersecurity: IT security webinar in January
The number of Italian companies that have undergone cyberthreats during the first semester of 2022 has increased by 73%, as reported by the report produced by Yarix (Var Group) that monitored the exposition of organisations to cyberthreats. Out of a total of 82,000 identified events, 13,000 were serious, posing a true threat to daily enterprise processes and requiring an emergency response to remedy the situation, implement preventive countermeasures and conduct post-incident analyses to understand the origin of the attack. The sectors that underwent the most cybercrime attacks (34% of the total) include fashion, large-scale retail and health, followed by IT and banking and finance (both at 8%).
Starting in January, Programme Ambizione Italia for Cybersecurity will hold free training courses to help SMEs improve cybersecurity skills.
AMBIZIONE ITALIA FOR CYBERSECURITY WEBINAR
The course aims to train IT professionals in cybersecurity focusing on the security of web applications throughout their entire development cycle. Following a general introduction that should level the understanding of participants, the course will focus on the OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) Foundation guidelines for web app security. In particular, the course will address the OWASP Top 10, the ten greatest threats to global web services, and the techniques and tools necessary for defence. Moreover, the course will provide recommendations on how to manage cyberattacks.
