Microsoft has chosen to hold Edu Day 2017 in L'Aquila. This will be an entire day of meetings and debates dedicated to the digitalisation of school and the diffusion of digital culture in Italy. The event, which is organized in collaboration with the City of L’Aquila, the University and MIUR, will host students, professors and school administrators from around Italy to explore the needs, best cases and new challenges for school through meetings, workshops and labs with the experiences of managers and professors who have successfully tested educational innovation [see press release].
The plenary session, dedicated to Educating for the Future, will bring together Anthony Salcito, Vice President of Worldwide Education for Microsoft, and Carlo Purassanta, CEO Microsoft Italy, to discuss the opportunities provided by innovative digital tools to promote education and research.

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale will also host a stand on activities for women developed in schools with Microsoft. Valentina Gelsomini, one of the Coding Girls Coaches, and Eleonora Curatola, Social Media Editor, will be present.
