The volumes presented at RomeCup 2012 – Excellence in Robotics in Rome are now available for free download from the site of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
“First Lessons and Interactive Games” is dedicated to the last year of pre-elementary school and elementary grades 1-3, while “Competitions: learning with Micromondi ex Robotica and Lego NXT” is meant for elementary grades 4 and 5.
These two volumes are part of the whole didactic kit for all ages that will soon be available in full. The kit is a ludic didactic model for active learning through the use of robotics to stimulate students to develop those transversal skills that are fundamental for growth.
The volumes are produced by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, edited by Prof Michele Baldi and include a premise by Prof. Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. The Introduction is by Celestino Rocco, Headmaster at the Secondo Circolo Didattico, Eboli.
