The Rome Liceo Antonio Labriola has enriched Programme Meet No Neet [see news: CV Soft Skills] with a specific module dedicated to e-skills that is implemented in collaboration with the DotNetCode.it Community, a group of professionals that promotes the exchange of coding techniques on the Microsoft .NET platform.

 

Today, the students will participate in the first lesson of Project DotNetSchool, a pilot experience promoted by the DotNetCode.it Community, which coincides with the Europe Code Week (October 10-18).

 

The course is based on five modules that will be held as follows:

 

  • October 10: Designing Software (ALM)
  • October 17: Data and Security (Entity Framework)
  • October 24: Developing REST Services (ASP.NET Web API)
  • November 7: Developing Hybrid Applications for Mobile Devices, Part 1
  • November 14: Developing Hybrid Applications for Mobile Devices, Part 2      
  • November 28: Developing Hybrid Applications for Mobile Devices, Part 1

 

 

Moreover, the DotNetCode.it Community will help the school develop an app to manage alternative didactic activities.

 

The students involved in this project are will also participate in the International Hackathon for Social Innovation that will be held in Rome as part of the Global Junior Challenge / Smart & Heart Cities.

 

The project will also provide an opportunity to involve the students in the European eSkills for Jobs Campaign launched by the European Commission to promote the quantitative and qualitative growth of employment.
