CDTI and INFORAV have organised a series of meetings to share information and reflections on technology in Italy with their associates. The meetings will be held from 5-7 pm with speakers selected not only amongst politicians, government members and institutional representatives, but also from academia, enterprise and professionals. The aim is to understand and share how to use technology to drive the country’s economy, promote research and innovation, and create partnerships amongst different actors.
Today, MP Vincenza Bruno Bossio will kick off a discussion on national technological innovation strategy and, in particular, on Italy’s infrastructural networks. Alfonso Molina, Founder and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, as well as Personal Chair in Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh (where he taught for over 20 years), will participate on behalf of the FMD.

- What plans are there to promote national ICT
- State of the art and capillarity of broadband
- Introduction of 5G (concessions, schedule, issues and opportunities).
The evening will end with a networking cocktail.
