Digital Competences Test

The suspension of classroom didactic activities and the closure of schools and universities in the red areas have forced teachers and professors to change their teaching methods and use digital tools. Are we ready for this? What are our digital competences as trainers?

The DigCompEdu SAT self-evaluation questionnaire was developed to help teachers and educators to discover their strong points and areas that could be improved in terms of the use of digital technology to assist teaching and learning in all sectors of education.

The preliminary version of the DigCompEdu SAT self-evaluation questionnaire has been developed as part of experimental project "DigCompEdu SAT DigCompEdu Self-assessment Tool - Lot 3 Italy, Portugal and Spain” (Contract N. 35186 -2018 A08-IT) developed and financed by the European Comission (JRC B.4) and conducted in Italy by the CNR Institute for Didactic Technology (CNR-ITD).

The DigCompEduSAT questionnaire is based on the European Reference Framework for the Digital Competences of Teachers and Educators (DigCompEdu).

The DigCompEdu Framework describes 22 key competences in six thematic areas organised into six levels of mastery (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2). The objective of the Reference Framework for teachers at all levels (including kindergartens, professional institutes, secondary schooling and adult education) is to support and encourage the efficient use of digital tools to improve and innovate teaching and learning processes.

By replying to the questionnaire, teachers and educators can self-evaluate their digital competences in 22 key areas of the DigCompEdu Framework.

At the end of the questionnaire, your digital competences profile will be available.
