“Our objective is to create a digital artwork entirely developed by students,” explains Giacomo Lion (29), a young emerging artist from the Bologna Accademia di Belle Arti. Giacomo Lion is the protagonist of the first “In (to) the Space” lab for schools. The meeting took place yesterday at the Istituto comprensivo Largo Volumnia and involved stduents from the first-degree secondary school.
The Media Art Festival Project-Event, in fact, re-elaborates the classic “festival” format by creating a wide-range production lab in schools.
The first Italian edition of the Media Art Festival will be held from Feb. 25 to March 1, 2015 at the Centrale Montemartini Museum, a beautiful symbol of the union between history and technology, and at the Rome Città Educativa.
