In a phone interview with Francesca Meini, Sara Ligorati, Category Manager Robotics & STEAM at Ligra DS srl, describes the contribution of
Ligra DS at RomeCup 2019 (April 2 – 5) and their commitment to drive schools into a “collaborative, technological and creative” future.
One of the event sponsors, Ligra DS, a leader in the distribution of innovative solutions for schools, will be at the RomeCup 2019 to present, for the first time in Italy, the "PI-TOP [3]", a new modular laptop for coding and making, conceived for students aged 10 and up.
The Ligra stand will host various interactive experiences, including a homage to the subject of RomeCup 2019, the DNA of Digital Innovation: a digital lab based on the Raspberry PI for microscopic and photometric analysis via robotics.
Ligra will also host four labs:
- KUBO at RomeCup: coding for teachers and students in kindergarten and primary school (4 – 10);
- EdCup: educational robotics with Edison for teachers and students in middle school;
- Personal Disco: animate your lesson with Pi-Top [3] for teachers and students in secondary school;
- Robotic Escape Room: a hands-on workshop to learn about new solutions for robotics in class, for teachers and school at all levels.
