Itis A. Pacinotti won first prize in the Explorer Senior category at the 5th International City of Rome Robotics Trophy.
Explorer robots are programmed to move independently and search for light sources on the playing field. They avoid obstacles and can identify light, gas and sound sources by emitting a sound or flashing a light.
During the competitions in the main lecture hall at Itis Galilei, Elisa Amorelli interviewed the Pakistani girl who helped program the rescue and soccer robots.
The students from Itis Pacinotti, coordinated by Prof. Falcioni, entered various teams in four categories:
- P&P in the Rescue Secondary category
- Sait, Mast, Bull, Pac3Ai, Pac3Ant and Pac2A in the Explorer Junior category
- Ketavet, Zippo and Truce in the Explorer Senior category
- Star and Extream soccer in the Soccer Open League category
