Davide (18) has just ended his 4th year at the IIS Via Silvestri School in Rome, where he is specializing as an electronic and electro-technical technician. Now, he has decided to spend his first week of vacation at the Summer School held by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in the Officina – New Jobs Workshop.
The One4One track allows participants to intensively explore the lab that is most suited to their skills, passions and life project. Davide chose to attent the Fab Lab, where he worked on digital manufacturing for an entire week amidst laser cutters and 3D printers.

The Officina – New Jobs Workshop is a project conceived by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Google to promote digital skills and implement professional training and orientation activities for 10,000 young men and women currently looking for a job. The initiative has been organised with the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the collaboration of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, the Regione Lazio and Roma Capitale.
