The protagonists of Project Amongst Generations – United for Work in Livorno are 15 students at IIS Galileo Galilei and 15 over-60 member of CAN Pensionati, all former craftsmen in the Tuscan city.

The year-three students on the school’s electronics and computer science programme, coordinated by Prof. Salvatore Speranza, helped the over-60s learn about technology, the web and the use of apps on mobile devices.

Today, all the participants will visit System srl in Livorno, a day that will be particularly useful for the professional orientation of the students.

Marco De Leonardo, Coordinator of CNA Pensionati Livorno, interviewed by Eleonora Curatola at the beginning of the course based on intergenerational learning.

Mr.  Nedo, 91 years old, left school at age 14 and returned at 91. In the meantime, he worked and attended the "Università della terra".
