For the Summer School of Internet for Everyone, the project promoted by TIM as part of national programme Operation Digital Risorgimento, four summer camps for university students are set to kick off. The camps are organised in collaboration with Vivere Ateneo, a student association at the University of Palermo. In total, about 150 students from 30 different faculties will participate. The largest group is from the Computer Science Area.

“As part of my academic career, I discovered how technology underlies the operation of all techniques and systems used in research for the development of new therapeutic methodologies. It is important to insert technological development into its historical context in order to appreciate the many opportunities it has brought us. Both as a representative and as a student, I understand how important it is to stimulate the new generations to learn about technology and keep abreast of the time,” explains Adelaide Carista, President of the Vivere Ateneo.

"Technology is often misunderstood. It is used without truly comprehending how it works or appreciating its full potential. Knowledge is an invaluable treasure. It must be free and available to everyone, always. And it is our duty as representatives to create and incentivise all opportunities for growth and education. Our future depends on what we learn today,” adds Partheepan Thiyagalingam, Coordinator of Vivere Ingegneri.
