Over 40,000 individuals have chosen to share their experiences and knowledge to improve digital skills, create new work opportunities and promote social innovation through the Knowledge Volunteers Network.
Prof. Stella Perrone [@perrone_stella] from IIS Alberto Castigliano in Asti coordinated Project Amongst Generations – United for Work in collaboration with Google and CNA Pensionati. Stella Perrone used the intergenerational learning model to involve artisans and enterprises in an experiment on an “ideal school,” capable of reducing its misalignment with the market and creating new local work opportunities. The school, which is directed by Ugo Rapetti, is also open in the evening and attended by students of many different generations.
In the video, Stella Perrone, one of the winners of the fourth edition of the Knowledge Volunteers Competition in the “Best Volunteer Teacher in Innovating Didactics,” explains her idea of school and why she decided to become a knowledge volunteer.
