Google and Livity launch a new youth forum: applications are open for young people aged 13 to 18

As a partner of Google in several projects dedicated to teenagers and young people, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is sharing a new initiative with its community, offering young people the opportunity to participate in a formative and creative experience.

Google, in collaboration with Livity, has announced that applications are now open for a new youth forum for young people aged between 13 and 18. The project, which is entirely online, offers young people the opportunity to participate in a process of research, discussion and co-creation on the challenges and opportunities of digital technology, and to be paid for their time and commitment.

Through a collaborative experience with peers from all over Europe, participants can reflect on the impact of technology in everyday life and propose innovative ideas for the future. At the end of the program, they receive an official certificate of recognition from Google, an added value for their CV and educational background.

Project structure

The selected young people take part in three main phases:

  • Online research (two hours): completing exercises and answering questions on a dedicated platform (by the week of March 17).
  • Online focus group (one hour): video call discussion with other participants to share ideas and opinions about technology (week of March 24).
  • Co-creation session (one hour): production of creative content, such as videos and images, to express your vision of the digital future (week of March 30).

Why participate?
The initiative represents a unique opportunity to develop digital and transversal skills, such as problem solving and communication, as well as allowing young people to contribute to the definition of new programs for digital literacy and artificial intelligence education.

How to apply
Applications are open and can be sent by filling out the online form.
