Promoted by UNAOC (United Nations Alliance of Civilizations), MIT Education Arcade, and the Learning Games Network, the competition aims to promote intercultural solidarity and dialogue through new technology, especially apps and videogames.
An international jury will select 5 finalists and award them fudning for their ideas. These projects will have tobe completed by January 3, 2013 and exhibited at the Vienna UNAOC Forum (26-27 February 2013).
The registration deadline is 30 November 2012.
Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, is one of the jury members.
UNAOC is also a partner of the Global Junior Challenge 2012 International Competition that is promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and will be held in Rome (October 17- 19 2012).
