Today, Binario F , the Facebook facility at the Rome Termini Railway Station dedicated to the development of digital competences will host two appointments as part of the Vagone FMD. Da 01 a 100 Programme, organised by the Fondazione Mondo Digital based on the IoW - Internet of Women and Share formats.

 

IOW labs are dedicated to women aged 50 and above, to promote knowledge of social networks and the web through the intergenerational learning model. SHARE promotes the inclusion and value of craftsmanship and entrepreneurship by young migrants to Italy.

Students from IIS Leonardo Da Vinci act as digital tutors to introduce over-60s to the web. Module 1 – Smartphones: basic applications and functions to move around Rome, book a restaurant and speak with friends.

Students from ITSSET “Emanuela Loi” in Nettuno act as digital tutors to introduce foreign citizens to the web. Module 3 – Looking for Work: using the web to find information and job announcements. Tools for preparing candidature: drafting a CV and uploading it to the web; writing an efficient letter of presentation, and practical exercises.
