Comparing Strategies

The four-week training course programme for headmasters, teachers and parents organized by Project Sonet-Bull began on October 7 at the Anti-Bullying Centre – Dublin City University.

Prof O'Moore, the national moderator described the first week as “dynamic and informative thanks to the high level of participation and the issues tackled.”

Teachers in Ireland have a relatively advanced understanding of strategies that can be used to prevent bullying thanks to the work of the national government. However, there still are issues related to the availability of information and contacts with other schools. In fact, they have expressed interest in the www.sonetbull.eu project platform that provides training materials and peer learning tools.

On October 16, the course will also begin in Patras, Greece at the la Hellenic Open University, while the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will host the courses in Rome at the end of the month.
