In order to overcome gender stereotypes and attract young women towards a digital career, Coding Girls Rome-USAallows young female students to experiment hands on with the use of new technology, as well as providing visibility to positive female models such as the Girls Who Codecoaches and the tutors from the Sapienza University Department of Computer Science.
From October 12 to 17, schools in Rome will host coding labs, while on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18, the vent will move to the Phyrtual Innovation Gym (via del Quadraro 102) for a full immersion in new technologies and a final hackathon.
Today, the appointment is at the Istituto d'istruzione secondaria superiore Pacinotti-Archimede in Rome.
