Coding Girls in Milan

After the day at the University of Turin, today, the tour of the Coding Girls, a programme promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the United States Embassy in Italy in collaboration with Microsoft Italy, is in Milan.

In preparation for the hackathon at the Politecnico University in Milano, intensive training sessions were held at schools throughout the Province of Milan (IIS Vanoni in Vimercate, IIS Caterina Da Siena in Milan, ITE Tosi in Busto Arsizio, IIS Falcone Righi in Corsico, ITC Schiaparelli-Gramsci in Milan). Today, 110 young women will be guided by American super coach Emily Bradford, an independent writer and software developer based in Silicon Valley.

Speakers include Mara Tanelli, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering and Member of the Equal Opportunities Committee at the Milan Politecnico; Mirta Michilli, Director General, Fondazione Mondo Digitale; Barbara Cominelli, COO Marketing and Operations Director, Microsoft Italy and Roberta Cocco, Digital Transformation and Civic Services Councillor, Milan Council.
