Coding Girls in Cagliari

The Coding Girls Educational Tour, which will be held on November 5-22 and will involve 10,000 young women in 14 Italian cities, is in Cagliari. The programme, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the United States Embassy in Italy in collaboration with Microsoft Italy, aims to promote gender equality in science and technology.

After the intensive training sessions held in schools in the city and its province (ITE Martini, LCS Siotto Pintor, LSS Pacinotti, IIS Asproni Fermi di Iglesias), today, 100 students, guided by American super coach Anthonette Peña, National Board Certified Teacher and STEM Teacher Lead, will participate in a un hackathon at the Faculty of Economics, Law and Political Science at the University of Cagliari.
