On Friday, February 11, starting at 6 pm, there will be the event dedicated to Women and Girls in Science: Different Perspectives to Observe Beyond the Farthest Stars, organised for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
The event aims to acknowledge the role of women and girls as agents of change in science. It will explore various perspectives and provide participants with the opportunity to listen to high-impact stories that will inspire and lead to action. The event will be opened by Prof. Amalia Ercoli Finzi, a role model for students and researchers who aspire to contribute to science.
The event is organised by the Uni@Versolospazio work group at the Reggio Calabria Mediterranea University.
Coding Girls will participate with Cecilia Stajano, Vice President of the Association and Innovation Community Manager at the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, and Scientist Flavia Dell'Agli, Astrophysicist and Researcher at the INAF Astronomical Observatory in Rome.
