The eighth edition of the EU CodeWeek (Oct. 10-25, 2020) was inaugurated last Saturday. The objective is to promote digital literacy in a fun and exciting manner with the slogan "Coding is for Everyone, just like School.”
CodeWeek was first launched in 2013 by the Young Advisors for the European Digital Agenda. The European Commission promotes the week as part of its strategy for a single digital market. In the action plan for digital education, the EU Commission especially encourages schools to join the initiative. The objective is to reach 50% of all schools in the European Union by 2020.
Amongst the planned activities, the FMD is holding two educational events for Project CS First:
