Code Week

Code Week

The second edition of the Code Week will be held on October 11-17, 2014. Millions of children, parents, teachers, entrepreneurs and policy makers will participate in the event designed to teach computer programming and related subjects.

The objective of Code Week is to provide greater awareness on programming or coding and reveal how accessible this discipline really is, as well as helping people to meet and motivating them to learn together.

As part of Code Week, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the American Government, via the American Embassy in Italy, with the collaboration of Girls Who Code, will launched a new challenge: Coding Girls Roma-USA. This will be an eight-day event entirely dedicated to young women in primary and secondary schools.

The event press conference will be held at the American Embassy in Rome on October 14, at 12:00.

The programme with all school activities will be on-line tomorrow.
