The strong growth of the cloud – a marked acceleration – is one of the scenarios that will characterises Europe over the coming years. According to a study published by OvhCloud in collaboration with KPMG France, InfraNum, Talan and Linkt, in 2030, cloud computing will have a total value of 300-500 billion euro. This will lead to the creation of 500,000 new jobs in Europe for Cloud Security Specialists, Cloud Architects, Cloud Specialists, Cloud Operations Administrators, Cloud Systems Engineers and Cloud Native DevOps Engineers
What is a cloud job like? What skills are required?
As part of Project Ambizione Italia for Youth, we have organised a free short training programme on the world of the cloud. The course will be held during the last week of August in three 1.5-hour lessons. It’s a light course that can be attended from anywhere but will be very efficient to orient participants towards new professional and educational horizons.
The course, entitled “Professions of the Future: Cloud System Orientation,” will look at one of the currently most needed professions in the world of IT, the cloud platform engineer. The course will look at hardware on which cloud systems are created to understand the communication mechanisms between the Internet and machines. The final module will provide recommendations for job interviews. The programme is open to anyone who is interested in computer science and requires no specific prior technical knowledge.
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale may communicate the names of the best participants to the Experis Academy on Cloud Platform Engineer beginning on September 20.
