The School of Internet for Everyone is back. The project promoted by TIM as part of the national Operation Digital Risorgimento Programme will begin again on August 30 with 10 new courses involving 350 citizens, with a slight prevalence of women.

The virtual classrooms include various age groups with a slight prevalence of over-65s (40.83%), followed by the 55-64 group (26.92%) and 45-54 (14.20%). The youngest have the lowest percentage of participants; 49.11% has a high school diploma, and nearly 27% a degree, while 16.27% only have a middle school certificate.

In terms of occupation, as you may surmise by the ages, nearly 45% of the participants have retired, while 21% are public and private employees.  Only 4% are independent professionals or entrepreneurs and 13% is looking for a job.

Public and private organisations that wish to enrol their employees in courses should write to ord@mondodigitale.org or contact their regional coordinators.

The project is promoted by TIM in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale as part of national programme Operation Digital Risorgimento.
