"I am curious by nature and I like to participate in any event that opens my mind. It helps me become independent with computers and smartphones and makes me happy!”

Last Wednesday, Maria Teresa (78) participated in the first digital literacy lab on smartphones held by students at the Istituto Leonardo Da Vinci in Rome, as part of Programme Vagone FMD at the Facebook “Binario F” facility.

In the video, Maria Teresa describes her motivation to participate in IOW - Internet of Women, the project dedicated to introducing women aged 50 and above to social networks and the web through the intergenerational model.

Programme Vagone FMD. Da 01 a 100, held by Fondazione Mondo Digitale Coaches at  Binario F three days a week until February 2019, includes transversal and inclusive activities for women, migrants, over-65s, students and enterprises, ranging from introductory digital literacy labs to coding labs to entice young women to scientific subjects.
