Today, the Robotics Centre hosts another lab for primary school children based on Bee-bot, the toy-robot created for infant school and the first years of primary school. It allows children to slowly come into contact with the world of robotics, learn the basics of programming, and understand the concepts of space, logic and counting. The Lego kit includes various different options for the Bee-bot to trace the movment of geometric forms, numbers, the alphabet, a home, etc.
Today, 41 boys and girls from the Istituto comprensivo Viale dei Consoli primary school second grades will be introduced to Bee-bot by Mohamed Haiba.
Labs at the Rome Robotics Centre are available every day except for Wednesdays through June 2014.
